a love of drawing

I love to find beauty and joy everywhere. In the cracks of the pavement, the way somebody walks, a beautiful composition, a lovely line. 

I love to travel and wander the streets of cities and towns with my sketchbook, my favourite pen (a Pelikan fountain pen), some brushes and my tiny mint tin palettes of watercolours and gouache and find wonderful corners and fantastic little compositions and busy streetscapes and draw what I see. I love beautiful lines and to draw people and the shapes of plants and also teapots and tea.

I often exhibit my drawings that I do out on the streets or in cafes, sometimes turn them into screenprints, and make fine art prints of some of my favourites to sell on my store. I also licence these on location sketches for book covers, branding, greeting cards and business promotion.
